Remember slime soccer, the little browser game where two half-circle blobs bounced a ball across the screen? Slime Bonk brings that spirit back as a fast online multiplayer game: two teams of four slimes, a real pitch with two goals, two-minute matches, and no download.
How slime soccer works in Slime Bonk
- Shoot by dashing into the ball. The faster you dash, the harder the shot. Aim with your direction just before you hit it.
- Save by parrying. Parry right as the ball reaches you and it bounces back, and your moves recharge instantly.
- Shoving is allowed. Bump rivals off the ball, block their dash, or knock the goalkeeper aside.
- Goals count for the last player of the scoring team who touched the ball, deflections included. Golden goal if it is tied at the end.
The soccer mode is one of four modes that rotate every match, along with Bonk (knock everyone off the platform), King of the Hill and Paint. Read the full how to play guide.
Play slime soccer with friends
Press INVITE FRIENDS and send the link: your friends join your team, up to eight of you, and bots fill the empty seats so the match always starts right away. You can also play two players on one keyboard: WASD, Space and Shift against the arrows, Enter and right Shift.
Controls
Keyboard: WASD or arrow keys to move, Space to dash (shoot), Shift to parry (save). Gamepad: stick, A and B. Phone: a joystick appears under your left thumb, with DASH and PARRY buttons on the right; the pitch turns upright when you hold your phone vertically.
Tips to score more goals
- Dash from behind the ball toward the goal: the shot follows your dash direction.
- Watch the ring around each slime: it shows its dash recharging. A keeper without a dash cannot jump at your shot.
- Stay home sometimes. A goalkeeper who parries stops far more shots than one who rushes out.
- Hit the post? Wait for the rebound, it often comes back to the middle.
